Each lithograph comes with a certificate of authenticity (COA) stating "This lithographic art print was reproduced from the original animation cel used in the 1982 film "Pink Floyd The Wall. Made in 1995 by Poselane Ltd & Music Marketing Network Inc. Picture sits indented with a 1 raised white border. Image Size: 15.5 x 24 inches, Size: 19.5 x 26 in. Condition: Excellent Sharp corners, no pin holes or tape and some discoloration spots on the white border that a paper conservator fixes. A print created using flat stones or metal plates. The artist creates a lithograph by drawing an image directly onto the printing element using materials like lithograph crayons or special grease pencils. After this, the drawing is transferred from the plate to the paper in multiples.
About The Artist: Gerald Scarfe. Gerald Anthony Scarfe CBE RDI is an English cartoonist and illustrator. He has worked as editorial cartoonist for The Sunday Times and illustrator for The New Yorker. His other work includes graphics for rock group Pink Floyd, particularly on their 1979 album The Wall, its 1982 film adaptation, and tour (1980-81), as well as the music video for "Welcome to the Machine".
