VTG NWT Fitz & Floyd Sea Dragon 12 Serving Platter Blue On White Japan Signed

This item is a rare and stunning new old stock Fitz & Floyd 12 Serving Platter. This piece was designed by Maehata Porcelain for Fitz & Floyd.

This platter has a blue glaze on heavy white porcelain with a rust rim and heavy clear glaze. There are 9 sides to this stunning platter with a unique pattern on each section of the rim with the dragon and waves on the sea in the middle. This pattern was discontinued by Fitz & Floyd in 1977. This piece is signed in blue glaze on the bottom center and has the Fitz & Floyd sticker and a small part of the Bloomingdale's price tag. This item was made in Japan and is quite substantial in feel and weight.

This platter measures 12" across and stands 1-3/4" tall. The weight of this platter without any packing or box is 3 pounds and 5 ounces.
